49 more days....

Yesterday I went to a fantastic summit featuring some of the most empowering women in the professional field. There was Megan Smith, Chief Technology Officer of the United States,  who spoke on the the power of women in the STEM fields. There was Danielle Brooks, actress from Orange is the New Black who spoke about diversity in Hollywood. There was also Nora O'Donnell, Georgetown alum and CBS newscaster who talked about the obstacles of being a woman in a male dominated industry (while also looking fabulous at the same time)! It was so inspiring being surrounded by so many successful and beautiful women, and it was a great way to spend my Saturday.

However, there was one person in specific that I was dying to meet. I've been following Carly's blog, The College Prepster, since I was a high school senior and I knew that Carly went to Georgetown. I spotted her around campus my freshman year, but I was still too intimidated to go up to her. Yesterday, I finally got to meet her in person. She gave so much advice on managing a blog and creating this outlet for ideas and thoughts, and to be honest, I think I needed her push to start this blog back up.

So...I am going to post every single day for the next 49 days. Why 49? 49 is the number of days I have left before graduation. So stick around and see how I prevent this from becoming a train wreck. I'm sure I'll have enough interesting things to say right? I am the rambler after all?....heh..heh.

Comment below for ideas, words of encouragement, or anything you want, really!  One comment...from anybody... would be lovely hahahaha.

See you tomorrow!

I think we're #owningit.
